Laura Puhl
Laura Puhl
Owner/Stylist

I have been a stylist since 1989. I chose this profession because I was searching for a career that would enable me to be creative, be myself, have fun and affect others in a positive way. In high school and college, I would often “do” hair for my friends. In fact, I experimented quite a bit with my own hair, giving myself all kinds of interesting styles in the 80’s. I modeled in a hair show and was hooked. I soon enrolled in cosmetology school and have been honing my skills and continuing to learn since.

I am extremely fortunate that I have found a career that is so satisfying. I look forward to going to work every day. Each day in the salon is something new. I am grateful to be in a position where I help people to look and feel good about themselves, which I believe is empowering to both parties. I am also very proud of the business I have built with my close friend of many years, Greg Harman. We strive to go above and beyond our customers' expectations while empowering our employees to succeed.

In addition to owning the salon and working behind the chair, I also hold a B.A. in Communication from The Ohio State University and participate in many shows, workshops and continuing education classes. During other times, I enjoy cooking, gardening, travelling, hiking, biking, camping and experiencing live music. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile…

Greg Harman
Greg Harman
Owner/Stylist

I have been a stylist since 1988. Collaborating with people to create wonderful cuts, dramatic colors, and inspiring styles continues to be both an exciting and incredibly rewarding part of my life.

After years in retail management and administration, I “happened” into the salon industry. I was searching for a profession where I could not only interact with people every day, but balance a healthy and active personal life. Becoming a hairstylist has afforded me just that - but it became so much more! You see, I have the great pleasure of helping people to feel better about themselves. Through my work, I watch spirits lift as the people who sit in my chair see what I see in the mirror - something beautiful. Something positive. Something possible.

My clientele is very special to me. Many of them I have known and worked with for years... and their children...and their children’s children. I’m quite proud of the work I’ve done, and I cherish the relationships I have made.

In 2003, I opened The Laura Gregory Salon with my friend of over two decades, Laura Puhl. I couldn’t be more proud of this space and the atmosphere we have created together. Laura is not only a phenomenal stylist, but a fantastic business partner. Everyone should be so lucky to work side by side everyday with their best friend!

When I’m not cutting, coloring, or styling, I enjoy my life. I love traveling, dog agility, and my cabin in the woods. I volunteer with 4H. I love to cook and enjoy reading and watching science fiction. I share a beautiful home with my amazing partner and two active German-Short-Haired Pointers.

In or out of the salon, I try and get the most I can out of each and every day.

Peace. Live long and prosper.

Andie Beekman
Andie Beekman
Stylist

Andie’s passion for working with hair began way before she broke into the salon industry in 1994. If the family scissors were missing, the first place her parents would look were in Andie’s hands. If she wasn’t trimming one of her sister’s bangs, then it was a safe bet that Barbie was getting a new haircut! Andie’s talent is in listening and connecting with her clients and putting them at ease to express themselves and their ideas. With her special attention to detail, she is able to create powerful cuts that harmonize the client’s hair texture, personality and lifestyle, resulting in a unique design suited to the individual that addresses each of his/her particular needs.

She is also a masterful color artist and is well known for her coloring and highlighting perfection! Added to her list of abilities is expert facial waxing, specializing in eyebrow shaping. Her relationship with her clients in second to none, you might walk in a stranger but you leave a friend. She’s the first one to tell you how lucky she is to have found her calling and is living her dream.

When she’s not at work she spends all her time with her friends and family.  As a proud Columbus native who attended Ohio State University, it’s understood that a fall Saturday is spent cheering on her Buckeyes! As for the rest of the year, if the sun is shining, she’s outside enjoying it, whether in Columbus or on one of her many sun soaked vacations.
